The adventures started when I met Matt Brook from Active Stirling in Inverness. We dropped off the trailer and made our way across to Fort William where I was due to start the following day.

As expected 5 students turned up to the hostel in Corpach in the early evening. We did kit checks and route planning before enjoying our last ‘proper’ meal before exped.

Trolleys, most useful piece of kit on this trip I think, saving me great amounts of time. However the boys decided to be men and just carry the boat between each lock system.

We made great time on the first two days with the wind at our backs and found ourselves ahead of time by day 3. This allowed us to have a slightly more relaxed final two days.

All in all a fantastic trip.
