Rain. Sun. Rain. Snow!!
A heavy frost on my tent and a few slightly broken yet happy teenagers.
This weekend saw me working for Outlook Adventure in the borders. Working with an Edinburgh based school my job was to ensure they learn the skills required to pass their silver Duke of Edinburgh assessment later in the year.
Our destination a walk along sections of the Southern Upland Way a 340km long trans Scotland walking route. We enjoyed a showery evening in the delights of Sanquhar before walking across the tops towards Wanlockhead an old mining town which is hosting the world championship for gold panning this year as it happens.
